It was an evening I shared with the sun
To find out where we belong
From the earliest days
We were dancing in the shadows

More wine
Cuz I got to have it
More skin
Cuz I got to eat it

Inside the outside
By the river
Used to be so calm
Used to be so sane
I rushed the lady's room
Took the water from the toilet
Washed her feet and blessed her name

More peace
Is such a dirty habit

Slow down,
we're too afraid

Let me ride
Let me ride
Burn my eyes
Let me ride

It was an evening I shared with the sun
To find out where we belong
From the earliest days
We were dancing in the shadows

Slow down,
we're too afraid

Let me ride
Let me ride
Burn my eyes
Let me ride
Let me ride
Let me ride
Let me ride
Let me ride
Let me ride
Let me ride
Let me ride
Let me ride

awesome track.
Crank up those speakers,nice😉
If you say "i don't like it", that's okay. But voting this one down and say it's too noisy, loud, trashy ... come on, that's ridiculous. Don't worry, this song is not dangerous for old people and I'm sure your old-fart music like Grateful Dead will be on air soon enough.

Just Hard and Thrashy enough, with feeling.  Live!
Too hard and thrashy for RP...
I saw these guys several times at Chameleon in Lancaster PA in the 90's but this song is virtually unlistenable. I  voted a very generous 2..

Blasphemy
It's more like Nickelback with distortion pedals ;)

Awesome comment about this dreck of a song.
How that sucks!! Sorry that  I can´t vote it multiple times sucko barfo! {#Stop}
God. This is so "thud and drone", following, the old, boring formula of thud and drone guitars, boring drumming, fake angst/anger vocals.

When will this overplayed music genre die?

It truly sucks.
{#Guitarist} LOVE IT
great!
Well it's noisy. 5.
Yay, top 40 FM.
I love hate this.

Quite Likeable Sucko Barfo

I love this song, but your comment is hilarious!  Cheers to varying opinions in what "good" music is ☺️

Ab-so-f*ck*n-lutely!! The bass just drove through your chest making your spine quiver.....

Indeed — they don't call themselves Live for nuthin'.  Nice to hear something with some power on RP once in awhile!

Usually like Live but this is pretty ordinary stuff.
Gawd Awful, Headache inducing din

Shame really.... they used to be sooo good... before all the religious stuff in their later work.
If you listened to Mental Jewelry you would know that "religious stuff" was always part of Live's schtick. You gotta either love it or leave it. I love it... no one is as earnest as Ed in pseudo-spirituality. Besides, this song rocks.

trite, pedantic crap.

Whole lotta hollerin'. Not even good hollerin' neither. Nine Inch Nails hollers way better.
I'm not a fan of hollerin' music. It has to be mighty good hollerin' for me to like it. This unfortunately isn't.

Damn good hard rockin tune! I have a lot of respect for this band....no pop-iness in them at all. Their guitar riffs are always stong, and the singing does have some emotion to it.
Well, not at the time. Today I hear their new song and it is rather trite, though still better than most of the junk on the mix station in Austin. Unfortunately that's where it now belongs. Sounds like Vertical Horizon. But this song, on the other... I still think this is their best since Pain Lies on the Riverside.

This worthless garbage is really beneath RP.

I have a similar reaction. I find myself liking this better than when it came out. I've always liked bands like Live because they are a diversion from the generic and the usual and are willing to experiment. Maybe it's just that it seems new again since much of the music today seems more lowkey.
You know, I used to poke a lot of fun at this band. I have to say this song is really cool. I think this band really did turn out to have more integrity than I gave them credit for in the \"Throwing Copper\" days. Its good!
This reminds me that I need to call my dentist for a root canal
Live rocks. This song rocks. If you want to expand your horizons, listen to RP. You will expand them in every direction -- that\'s a good thing. Long Live RP!
Ed actually has a pretty decent range. I encourage you to listen to more of Live\'s stuff to hear it. They\'re a most excellent band.
They\'d be really good if the lead singer would sing instead of screaming all the time.
