Correction, however, it was $15,000, not what I heard as $50,000. Still a lot of paperwork and took 3 bank employees to accept it, with their own layer of paperwork.

This morning, we took a lovely two-hour Tuk-Tuk ride through the streets of Madrid.
Our 30-year-old multilingual somewhat hipster guide was very pleasant and engaged. About midway through, he showed us a trio of buildings, explaining their history.
âZe building in ze meedle was the ome of a prominent Catholic cardinalâ¦Ee was a member of ze Spanish Inquisition.â
of course, I interrupted, âI didnât expect THAT!â
He looked at me smiling and said, âYes, zat was ze period when ee was housed there, and you know of ze horrible things that they deed. Ze other building to the right was built much later, and ees a century older.â
And we puttered on down the small cobblestone street to the next plazaâ¦.
